The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Course is a collaboration between the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association that teaches an evidence-based approach to newborn resuscitative care. The NRP Advance Provider course provides 12 CAPCEs and is valid for two years.

This program teaches the knowledge and skills required to resuscitate newborns. While this course does not guarantee proficiency during an actual resuscitation, it lays the foundation that enables participants to continue development of these skills.
