Dr. La Rocca is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and has been practicing for 20 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He specializes in the medical and surgical care of children’s eye disease and the care of adults with strabismus.

Dr. La Rocca graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then earned a Master’s Degree in Pubic Health followed by his Medical Doctorate — both from Boston University. After completing an Internal Medicine internship at Boston Medical Center, he completed his residency at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. La Rocca then completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.

Dr. La Rocca grew up in Miami FL, and lives in Westchester NY with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. He is an avid photographer, cyclist, and fishing hobbyist.
