Mary Keller, RN, MSN, CPHON, is a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Her practice includes the direct care for and education of patients and their families, as well as the professional development of nurses within the specialties of hematology and oncology. Mary’s research interests focus on improving health, managing treatment-related symptoms, and promoting resilience in children and adolescents/young adults with cancer and blood disorders and their families. She is the Chair of the Hematology-Oncology Nursing Research Workgroup and the End of Treatment Transition Program coordinator for childhood cancer survivors and their families. She has worked locally and nationally to develop education for patients and families regarding side effects of biotherapies and the safe administration of anticoagulation therapy. She is also Connecticut Children’s Nursing Responsible Investigator for Children’s Oncology Group.
