Dr. Haile is a general pediatrician and faculty member of the UConn School of Medicine. Dr. Haile completed medical school, residency, and chief residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. She served as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Ochsner Medical Center for one year before returning home to Connecticut and joining Connecticut Children’s Division of Primary Care in 2012. Dr. Haile provides comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients, as well as didactic and bedside teaching to medical students and residents. She has special interests in medical education and lead poisoning. Dr. Haile serves as a Core Faculty Lead and Associate Program Director for the Connecticut Children’s Pediatric Residency Program and Medical Director of Connecticut Children’s Regional Lead Treatment Program. Dr. Haile lectures to pediatric healthcare providers and community organizations regionally on lead poisoning prevention and treatment.
